Good to know in Yukon
The limit runs from May 15 to May 14: 2.6% from May 15, 2026 to May 14, 2027. The government has said it plans to phase the cap out; the limit after May 14, 2027 isn't set.
A notice above the limit, or with too early a date, is read as the most that's allowed.
Yukon's new Residential Tenancies Act took effect September 1, 2025.
